What is Reiki? Reiki is a natural, holistic, complementary practice. The word Reiki is translated as 'Life Energy'. It is activated by the intention and it works on both physical and emotional levels. Reiki balances the energy flow through the body, encouraging the body's own healing mechanisms and instilling a deep feeling of relaxation.
What are Reiki Circles?
Reiki circles are gatherings of people in the shape of a circle with the intention of healing (body, mind and spirit). During that hour the Reiki practitioner guides the participants into a meditation and while the participants remain in a meditative state the Reiki practitioner works around the circle person per person.
What are the benefits of receiving Reiki?
It promotes deep relaxation, which aids the body to release stress and tension. It accelerates the bodies' self-healing abilities; It aids better sleep; It can help with acute (injuries) and chronic problems (asthma, eczema, headaches, etc.) and aides the breaking of addictions; It helps relieve pain; It helps to remove energy blockages by adjusting the energy flows of the endocrine system bringing the body into balance and harmony; It can assist the body in cleansing itself from toxins; Reduces some of the side effects of drugs and helps the body to recover from drug therapy after surgery and chemotherapy; Supports the immune system; Increases vitality; Raises the vibrational frequency of the body; Promotes creativity; Increases concentration; Helps spiritual growth and emotional balance.
Tuesdays at 10.30am, Wednesdays at 7pm and Fridays at 12pm!
Besides exercises and Reiki we also share some homemade mint tea, fruits and Banana Cupcakes.
Banana Cupcakes recipe:
2 ripe bananas
2 cups of Gluten Free Old Fashionated Rolled Oats
4 spoons of Coconut oil or Ghee
half cup of raisins,
2-3 drops Tangerine or Wild Orange Essential Oil
2 spoons of Stevia or Honey for sweeter taste
Half cup of water or milk (Flaxseed, Almond, Coconut)
To prepare (takes 5 minutes)
Mix bananas with raisins and your choice of oil (If you choose ghee, you may need to heat it up until the ghee melts), when mixing, adding sweetener or honey, Cinnamon and Tangerine or Wild Orange Essential oil.
Add the oats into already mixed banana mass, poor water or milk over and mix everything well.
Poor the mass measuring with the spoon to the cupcakes forms and place it in the oven.
Bake it for 22-30 minutes in the temperature of 350 F.
